Dog Café Rio Shinjuku

Experience the joy of canine companionship without the long-term commitment at Dog Café Rio. Unlike some pet cafés, Rio respectfully prohibits picking up the dogs. Instead, guests are encouraged to sit low to the ground, allowing the dogs to approach naturally and perhaps curl up in your lap on their own terms.

This thoughtful approach creates a more authentic interaction while ensuring the wellbeing of the café’s four-legged residents. The café houses an impressive variety of breeds, including Miniature Dachshunds, Corgis, Jack Russells, Italian Greyhounds, Pekingese-Chihuahua mixes, American Cocker Spaniels, Pinky Chihuahuas, Toy Poodles, Miniature Schnauzers, Pomeranians, and Border Collies.
